creates peace. Myrrh was burned to
Ra at noon in ancient Egypt & was
also fumed in the temple of Isis.
Myrrh is rarely burned alone,
usually it is used in conjunction
with frankincense or other resins.
Myrrh increases the power of any
incense to which it is added. Myrrh
is also included in healing incenses
or sachets & its smoke is used to
consecrate, purify and bless
objects. Burning myrrh is often used
to aid in meditation and contemplation.

Widely regarded as one of the most romantic of fragrances. Ylang Ylang means "flowers of flowers" in Philippine. It is a Malaysian tropical flower that yields an exotic, aphrodisiac aroma cherished by many Armoatherapists and perfume makers.
Ylang Ylang (pronounced "ee-lang ee-lang") is a wonderfully exotic and enticing floral pure essential oil. The name Ylang Ylang means "flower of flowers". It is said that in Indonesia people would spread these delicate and sweet-smelling flower petals on the bed of a newly married couple. This pure essential oil is produced by the steam distillation of the fresh flowers. Like jasmine, the ylang ylang flowers must be picked in the early morning hours when they are at their most fragrant.
Ylang Ylang has a sweet, rich and somewhat spicy aroma that has been called hypnotic and euphoric. Considered to be an aphrodisiac because it is simultaneously sedating as well as stimulating.
