Offering a Sacred Braid of Sweet Grass freshly Gathered along Coastal Maine
this past season. We were not able to Collect much of Native Sweet Grass this
Year, please cherish this Bunch! Enjoy as Incense, Decor or for use in your
Crafts. This grass is used in traditional basketry as well as for ceremonial
purposes. As with all of our botanical offerings this was Grown with Pure
Sunshine & Rain, with No use of Pesticides.
Some folks will bundle this with sage leaves and cedar leaves
and then smolder in "smudging ceremonies" for cleansing of the spirit. Sweet
Grass releases a natural oil as it dries that gives off a sweet vanilla-like
fragrance that will remain indefinitely in each Craft you include this in...You
will fall in love if you have never had the pleasure to work with this before!
The smoke of burning sweet grass is said to clear objects, places, and people.
Often found in medicine bundles & sometimes packed with ceremonial clothing to
